I cannot stick to one art style, medium or theme. I like to do a bit of everything and not limit myself. One of my favourite things is plein air painting of the beaches in my local area. I don't have a fancy set up, just a towel to sit on, a sketchbook, my paints, a brush or two and a little bottle of water. I often also have my children with me (so add on all their paraphernalia). This week I had a few hours to myself and even though it was constantly drizzling with rain I was determined to paint. I added an umbrella to my kit and got to work at Murrays Beach in Jervis Bay. It's usually packed with tourists due to the fact it is one of the best beaches in NSW but I had it entirely to myself thanks to the rain.
